Here is a test on your view of the world from a philosophical standpoint.

The questions can be somewhat complex but it is sort of interesting.

I am an R-A-R. What are you?

Er... I don't understand what on Earth that quiz is taking about. Does that make me thick?

I am not surprised.

No, like I said, the questions are complex. I could indicate that you might have a greater difficulty at understanding philosophical things but many intelligent people have some difficulties understanding philosophy.

NAO. I'm a realist non-reductionist, rationalist absolutist, and objectivist but can't really say I'm either Kantian or Utilitarian fully just because both seem to have oversimplified dynamics.

Something else I found interesting too, don't know if you all got this or what but:

You scored higher than 99% on Ethics

I took the test and I got the same thing. This means that there isn't a large enough sample to come to any meaningful conclusion. You might have gotten a 99% with 11% on every variable.

N-A-O
You scored 77% Non-Reductionism, 66% Epistemological Absolutism, and 66% Moral Objectivism!

UPDATE: D'oh, but apparently it doesn't mean anything. It was interesting though.

It shows your view on the world and it does mean something. Your results mean that you believe that there are metaphysic truths out there and do not just cut away all metaphysical mumbo-jumbo. You also believe that reality is objective and knowledge about it is objective. Finally, you believe that there is an objective moral truth to the world.

I got NAO.

Upon reading the descriptions, it appears like the test says I'm the opposite of what I think I am. I must've misunderstood the questions or something.

Still amazes me that I scraped a B+ in PHIL 140.
