Thanks for posting that. It's easy to forget that that stuff didn't happen all that long ago. It's good that the state is acknowledging it, though there's really no amount of money that could make up for what the state did to those people.

And sterilizing women without their consent because they got raped -- man, people are f*****g nuts.

One of my aunts underwent forced sterilization, for being "feeble minded." Which she was, but still, not very nice.

I'm just lucky that my parents didn't get the same treatment.
