Many Zionists say that the Modern Jewish State of Israel existing since 1948 must exist or a worldwide Muslim Caliphate Empire will take over the world are they right ? Do the Palestinian Arabs even want this ? I thought the Palestinians wanted their Nation back ? My question is do you agree that a Jewish State in the Middleast somehow stops Islamism from taking over the world why or why not ?

The Jewish state does not stop the Muslim empire. The Palestinians are the least of the problem. The Islamic fundamentalist like the tali ban really hate the western world and want to destroy us. The American military does more to stop the Muslim empire than the Israelis have ever done.
I agree with the U.N. that Israel needs to be recognized as a notion but the Palestinians need to have their own nation too.

Looked at cynically it is a kind of un-kosher salesmanship. Little Israel is all that stands between America and Islamic destruction, therefore give Little Israel money. I find this approach not to my liking.

Well its both a dumb belief,and a dumb sales pitch, if thats what Isrealis are indeed saying ( Glenn Beck is quite obsessed with this future Caliphate, but I dont know about Isreali Zionists).

As stated above -the Palestininians just want their own country.
The Arab-Isreali struggle was decades old before Islamism and Jihadism became creeds in the late seventies and eighties.

One can imagine joining the Islamic nations of North Africa the Middle East and former Soviet Central asia together into the equivalent of the European Union. That would be the most likely modern reincarnation of "the Caliphate". A trading club uniting the culturally islamic nations of the part of the World stretching from Morrocco to Kazahkistan.

It would be about as menacing to the world as the European Union is, and it would function about as well as the European Union does. But even as imperfect a union as the European union is- something like it is way beyond the arab and islamic world now. And even if the arab nations all formed into an evil menacing empire that threatened the nonmoslem world - the idea that tiny Israel stands between the USA and this evil caliphate is absurd.

The opposite is more plausible. We could divide and conquer the arab world with greater ease if the state of Israel magically disappeared one day because the cause celeb of opposing Israel gives the Arab world most of what little unity it has!

Do you recall the story of Sampson? In the last act he brought the Temple of Dagon down on the heads of his enemies and his own. Since he was as good as dead that latter mead no difference. If Israel goes down it will take the rest of the middle east with it.

The "they" I meant was the Isrealis themselves( for some reason hypothetically) deciding to have a close out sale ( like the North Korean generals would do with the North Korean state if they were smart). Then I changed it to Israel "magically disappearing".

In the parralell universe where Israel was never founded Arab unity pretty much doesnt exist because the lightning rod of Israel doesnt exist.

So proping up Israel promotes what little Islamic solidarity that there is . So saying that Israel is somekind of bulwork against islamic solidarity is nonsense.
