I think it's wrong to equate the Republican Party with psychopathy, but descriptions of them basically sound like Republicans.

This is true. We're all socio/psychopaths to some degree.

Well that's an "interesting" theory

Summary
Psychopaths are: weird, conscious-less, remorseless, pedophilia handling, non-human, Nazi, vampire beings that infect and take over, bleeding the economy dry, raping and pillaging resources. Some can even be basement dwelling parasites or George W. Bush!


While I disagree with him on many issues, I do not believe George W. Bush to be a psychopath. I do not believe he would have gone into politics or business if his family was not in politics or business. He possibly would have been a more adept president if he actually were a psychopath.

He was inept enough to be "normal". An Dubyah never did -crazy- things. He way have done many unwise things, however.

If Dubyah had told the public that God Himself ordered him to deploy our troops in Iraq perhaps one could doubt his sanity. But that never happened. Karl Rove and Donald Rumsfeld told him and Dick Cheney seconded the motion. Was Dubyah "crazy" for listening to them, or just plain stupid?

I have to think that nurture plays an overwhelming role in the development of at least violent criminal psychopaths. That is, murderers, rapists, and common thieves. People like this more often than not had had terrible childhoods, in which neglect and or abuse was a common part of their lives. Just how this works in the pathology of the white collar criminals of Wall Street is something I can't comment on, but I'd be sincerely interested if someone had an answer, or at least speculation.

George W.'s relationship with Cheney started to become strained because he started to bend to public pressure (apparently he did care what the populace thought of him) and Cheney wanted him to ignore them and continue with the original agenda.
