Have you ever been friends with someone cause god told you to? Yes I know thats not the politically correct way of phrasing it but hopefully you know what I mean. Like you were more friends with them out of pity and obligation then actually wanting to be friends with them?

Many religious people told me that God was talking through me, and guiding me, before my adolescence. With my adolescence, the physical aspects of religious involvements took precedence from others, while predestination dictated my encounters more as an iurodivyi, to too much as the fate of a Prince Myshkin character from Dostoevsky, with seemingly near total and continuing disasters from universal truths.

Of course I have, and other believers have reached out to me - sometimes, out of compassion. These are Christ-like tendencies, and it isn't nuts. However, whether or not one perceives it to be depends upon one's beliefs.

When we are willing to 'be Jesus' to someone - to allow Him to work through us - we have grasped a very important concept of the Christian walk. If and when you ARE led in that way, I hope you'll obey. You never know what kind of wonderful blessing you may receive - perhaps one that you may not see to be one at the time!
