It seems being pro-life is correlated with being petty

Hey, I have an idea, if you don't go through forced pregnancies I will stop playing video games. Imagine such a sacrifice for me to stop drinking ice cream. Wow, as you can see I am the victim here. Mother Teresa would be proud.

It's like a hunger strike, but pathetic.

Seriously. What a bunch of dumb-ass rednecks. Notice how nobody's quitting their work on a cure for cancer or anything here... they're all giving up junkfood and video games and s**t. Is this supposed to make people feel bad about getting abortions? I think it's gonna backfire. I mean, if you get knocked up and feel bad about getting abortion, at least now you can say you're doing your part to keep a bunch of halfwits healthy and productive instead of being in their natural state of working their way toward morbidly obesity. But perhaps the ultimate irony is that with all that free time most of these mouth-breathers will probably find themselves pregnant. A conundrum indeed.

I think I read somewhere that boasting about your own sacrifices makes you look immoral.

What they're giving up may be small and not so important in the grand scheme of anything but the gesture is still admirable in my opinion.

Not to mention, if the gesture of giving up something for a cause can motivate some of these people to eat and live healthier then good for them. Whatever it takes.

The bible, which is probably the same book they're using to justify being against abortion.

A point of terminology here. "Pro Life" really means anti-abortion and anti-birth control which is basically anti-sex. Pro Life so called is Pro Stupidity.

What's pathetic is that that isn't much like hunger strike, why the hell the government should care wether some loons decide to give up playing video games or eating ice cream until abortion ends, so they change the laws? It looks more like a joke, and is hard to believe they are actually serious.

If enough people stop buying ice cream and video games it will have a significant negative effect upon the economy.

Wait, we are not taking prayers into account. It looks like God will end abortions, after the prayers give up on things like drinking coffee and eating ice cream. Will that work?

Gosh, no! God is downright offended by such meager "offerings." If these people expect Him to end abortions they'll need to burn their children in the fire, or at the very least sacrifice a ram or two.

No...it clearly wasn't the Bible, as it was in response to an american philosoper, if I recall correctly. Now if I could remember the name... -.-

Sex leads to babies. Seems completely obvious to me.

As an aspie I have to ask myself and the rest of the people on this thread, is it that difficult to curb your own desires and not have sex?

Life doesn't begin at conception, life is always life. And the transference of life is what our biology intends.

I don't know for sure, no one does, but any aborted life could have found the cure for cancer, or in this case the cure for stupidity.

Are Aspies all stupid in our own way? Why not, we're all human and fallible.

viruses are transference of life, does not work as a distimctive trait of humanity, animals or anything.
