/\I’ll take the bottom one.The top one is too sterile and industrial looking and would be hard to build a garden around.

I agree. And you know what's funny to me? The way "modern" civilization looks down on ancient humans as primitive and barbaric when our own ancestors were actually much more capable survivors than we will ever be.

They could farm, hunt, gather wood for fire, build stronger (and frankly more attractive) buildings that lasted, etc. They may not could all read and write but they were more resourceful than us.

And yet our so-called "advanced" civilization depends too highly on computer technology that most of us take for granted and yet we dont know how to actually build computers. We also take for granted the fact that we get all our food and medicine from stores that depend on trucks powered by fuel to bring them to us.

Basically we're too dependent on a system that will destroy us one day should we lose it all. It's like we're all trapped in a giant spider's web. :skull:

Those old folks knew what herbs healed, information handed down from generation to generation and all that was lost.

Exxxxactly my point. And frankly I don't think we are prepared to survive another dark ages like that, which feels like exactly the kind of world we are headed for soon.
