The "Hardcore Repugnicans" believe that women should not have contraception or abortion as options. A woman who participates (even passively) in her husband's orgasm, but who uses contraception or otherwise prevents a pregnancy, is as bad as a prostitute.
"Hardcore Republicans" are also violently opposed to providing any support for children, particularly in the form of "government handouts." The children can be used in medical experiments and sent to a glue factory after they've been born, but must be neither contraceived nor aborted. Raptor will back me up on that.
"Softcore Republicans" know that the Repugnican Party might lose elections to Democrats if they campaigned on such platforms. The "Softcore Republicans" are more pragmatic, and would favor providing mandatory abortions if the mother will not be able to provide for the child, because it ends up being cheaper in the long run than providing subsidized school lunches and, frequently, keeping the progeny alive in juvenile and then adult prisons.
