That you have a lack of belief in which demonstrates your non-position.

No one can think of anything?

No one wants to mention that their atheism is weak?

I have a non belief in unicorns.

But I dont make an ideology out of it.

I dont make it my mission to convert unicorn believers into unicorn doubters.

I am not a unicorn denier.

So is my non belief in unicorns- a belief, or is it a nonbelief?

Snapcap you keep opening a can of worms and when you do that then they are going to look down on me as well because of your snarky comments about athesits.

The common form of atheism is an absence of belief in the Deity de Jour. It is not a positive position so it is weak.

It is no different in character than not believing in Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy.

All I'm doing is illustrating the fact that it's silly to say that you lack a belief in the existence of God, no matter what your belief is.

as far as i know, i can't fly. if someone asked me if i could fly, i could answer, "no, i don't believe i can."

am i answering this correctly? not sure if i can wrap my head around it.

Why can't you fly? Do you not hold enough confidence in yourself to learn? There's many aviation academies across the nation. Is it a money issue?

from my observations, people generally can't fly. of course, i don't mean that they can't fly in an airplane; i mean they can't flap their wings and soar of their own volition.

Is this even on topic?

Yes. From what I can tell, she is saying that she doesn't believe she can fly.

According to you, because she has been exposed to the idea of her flying, she believes she can fly.

She is illustrating why you're wrong.

I cannot grow gills, I cannot regenerate a limp if one was chopped off (like a star fish)

i should clarify: some people DO *believe* they can fly. most people *think* they cannot. one camp is correct.
