Immortalists are about 1000 times more rational than truthers and birthers. They're really entirely different categories. Immortalists make unusual predictions about the future. Truthers and birthers make ridiculous claims about the past.

Birthers believe Barack Obama was not born in the USA.

I don't really understand why conspiracy theorists are referred to as "truthers". Shouldn't truthers be people who search for objective truths (as objective as it gets anyway)?

and yeah im hoping ray kurzweil and aubrey de grey are right, i am big fans. im pretty sure if they got the funding they needed we could cure aging very fast but no, people would rather spend the money on wars and faster iphones. :lol:
