i realize this is probably totally an idiotic undertaking for me and i probably will eventually get soo stressed i will have to delete my account but here it goes...

It is well known most Aspies are athiests or agnostic... I wish we could all get along but its become aparrent that neither side religious nor athiest wants to do that... and while that saddens me i have come to accept it i have know athiest people and religious people and many from both sides were great people! Anyways i propose that if you have a question about christianity or God or any of that kind of stuff and you doubt it go ahead and post it here... give me a challenge and i will try to give you my perspective... (which is a lot different from a lot of christians)

BUT we need to set some ground rules.. please respect my opinions as i will respect yours... we all need to have at least some level of respect for eachother otherwise this will turn into peopel just angry at eachother and set in their beleifs... ALSO i understand that many athiests are JUST as set in their beleifs as a i am in mine and i do not write in here with the intention of changing anyones beliefs, i think the main reason i want to do this is for a personal reason. that reason is that by being challenged with these questions it will actually make me stronger in my faith as it will require me to do research and look inside myself for answers...

Last but not least i am just a man and i do not claim to have all the answers for waht i beleive is Gods doing... and hey i may be totally wrong and there is no divine being and well thats okay with me; i just dont beleive that that is the case and beleif in christ has helped me more than you will ever know... so keep it down in the peanut gallery

okay that is it 1st question please

good point but a lot of them hae questions proving or didproving gods existence...

let me put it this way... if God were to PROVE 100% and show everyone that he WAS GOD then most of us would beleive because there is ground solid proof... But if he were to do that then how would he be able to tell who really loves him? if everyone KNEW there was a God then he wouldnt be able to differenciate between the ones who believed and loved him and the others. SO God does not want to PROVE to the human race that he is the almighty because he wants to leave a little gap... sure he will give examples that sugguest he is the lord but ther comes a point where you have to take a leap of faith and beleive eithout "seeing"... this is how God can tell who his people really are... the ones that take that leap of faith and love him without need for proof..., reguardless

All of that is true but then their would be no good reason to have faith to the faithful having faith is seeing God.

OK, I have one:

What is so special about the Burning Bush "miracle"? Bushes burn all the time. And I am willing to bet I can get a tree to talk to me more sensibly and coherently than "I am who am". How this was the only burning bush that could do this? Did God just realize this was not really a miracle that bushes could burn and gave it up? Does anyone ever stop to put out a burning bush and realize God might be talking to them right now? I don't think so. If I saw a burning bush, I would have put it out and all the Jews would be doomed. I am not a very good leader in real life anyway.

Yes, I know that. My reaction would not be why the bush was not consumed by flames, but that I should put it out. Seems rather dumb.

I think he gets all the attention unfairly just because his title has fewer letters than Goddess. ;)

I guess that isn't much of a gripe. But still.

Yes indeed it does the bible has a lot of hidden meanings behind each story.

Not if you take it literally.

How can one have a problem with something that probably does not exist?

Yes not if you take it literally of course but you can peel back certin things then it makes more since once you decode it.
