That wouldn't be very Bastille-ish. There weren't really captives to free in there.

That Bastille was mostly a storehouse for powder and shot at that time.

There were only 7 prisoners to release at the time.

In the USA, we presently have an acute problem of warehousing over 7 million captives in prisons--and we have the planet's highest incarceration rate.

If narcotics possession were decriminalized the number would be cut in half.
