I am not religious but this is taking atheism to a whole new level

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man used flammable liquid to light himself on fire, apparently to protest a San Joaquin Valley school district's decision to change the names of winter and spring breaks to Christmas and Easter vacation.

I don't think they should change the names of the vacations but this is ridiculous 8O
Who says atheists don't believe in anything

I hate to say it but some Atheists can be as bad as the religious extremists in promoting their cause. It'd be ignorant to say that Atheism doesn't have it's own problems as well.

Mentally ill people sometimes hurt themselves or others. The missguided reasons they use to commit such violence has little to do with why the do it.

Every group has their nice guys, and their jerks, and their absolute lunatics. Just something to keep in mind when we make um...our generalizations.

Athiests and the "Religious Right" have almost everything in common, much like the Sith and the Jedi. The way some people get into athiesm almost makes it a religion in itself. I like people who can respect others' religions and values, or lack thereof.
