Background info: This Youtube video features the theme song for the Cantonese-dubbed version of an old Korean drama named Ladies of the Palace. I had a good laugh using my imagination to superimpose certain politicians' faces onto certain characters' faces.

Rough translation...
With my mouth; with my face; I ensure that everyone feels uneasy as long as I am around. I am adept at using my courage and wisdom to overcome obstacles. I must constantly scheme against others to defend myself, but rest assured that I will treat you well. I break existing norms into pieces and live out my bright future. I am the one who establishes new norms. The era that I am concerned about is not the present era. I make no distinction between righteousness and evil; I disregard karma. Sisters, let us unite to rule this era. Power has widened my eyes and enlightened my heart. I determine everything that exists in the universe.

JEONG Nan Jung (Main character): In this world, those own power and wealth can achieve anything they want. I will use my wits to grab power and wealth for myself. I want those who look down on me to flatter me. I vow to own the whole world one day.
Nan Jung's foster mother: Nan Jung, are you mad?
JEONG Nan Jung: I am confident that I will definitely succeed, Mother. Watch me succeed.

To all: If you know of song lyrics or quotes or videos that describe politicians well, feel free to post here! :)

The spelling gets a little careless in the lyrics from time to time, but...

Every single word in this song. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that Machiavelli wrote the lyrics... Oh wait, it's Old Mick, not Old Nick...

After all, the opening verse is a dead give-away of a politician:

"Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith"

I like the Guns N' Roses version better, but credit goes to the OP.

Electioneering by Radiohead reminds me of David Cameron, with Nick Clegg as his opponent.

Possibly cheating as it is actually written to be political.

Hi all, thanks for your replies. I will try replying to as many posts as possible...
To The_Walrus: I can't even tell the difference between pop and rock because I rarely listen to songs written in the English language, but I have heard of the Radiohead before because many of my peers idolize its members. Oh, in Electioneering, the lines "when I go forwards, you go backwards, and somewhere we will meet" give me the creeps because when I was doing research on some politicians, I came across this sentence which was extracted from an election speech--"If I go forwards, don't you dare go backwards!"
To Nambo: War Pigs is such a depressing song because it reflects the truth about many politicians who manipulate people into accomplishing dirty deeds on their behalf. Whoever who wrote Let's Impeach the President must have been a genius because this song made me lol. I assumed that Neil Young is American but a Google search revealed that he is Canadian. I have always been hearing good things about Canada such as its beautiful natural scenery.
To GGPViper: To be honest, I used to think that The Rolling Stones is overrated, but I changed my mind upon seeing how Mick Jagger oozed charisma throughout his performance. By the way, I find his voice sexy. Some netizens interpreted this song as "Let's stop blaming the Devil when we humans are the ones guilty of committing crimes against humanity."
To auntblabby: Oh gosh, I lost count of the number of times I listened to this song because its lyrics impressed me--every word rings so true.
I have discovered some songs that describe politicians well. I will be posting them soon. (Note: None of the songs is in English.)

Note: This song is sung in Cantonese.

Rough translation: “If you want to succeed, you must wait for Heaven to bestow you with luck, but remember that humans are responsible for plots that lead to success. Once you hold people's hopes in your hands, you can defeat any enemy, you will triumph over those who have been aggressive towards you. Politics is full of lies that make the truth sounds stranger than fiction, politicians are all needles wrapped up with cotton wool. When circumstances favor them, they will fight whenever they have the chance to fight. When circumstances no longer favor them, they will do their best to tolerate such circumstances. Every life-and-death battle in politics is as risky as attaching weights to a strand of hair while ensuring that it will not snap, when they politicians look back at the past, they will shudder when they realize that they are still alive. Sometimes an opportunity that arises by chance can change the rest of your life or result in a moment of good fortune for you. If you encounter defeat, do not panic, just tolerate it for a while, confidence has always led to success since time immemorial. Confidence, confidence!"

Note: Yes I'm well aware that this Hokkien song is written as a love song, but somehow I manage to link it to politics. I interpret it as politicians blaming each other when a political alliance goes horribly wrong.

Rough translation: “I have no one to turn to, I have no one to rely on, there is no escape route for me available. I regret regarding you as my very last refuge. You did everything you could to pretend that we are deeply in love with each other as if we are starring in a movie. Even Heaven is so disgusted that it has covered its face so that it will no longer see you. You thanked me for being such a gentle sweetheart before disappearing without a trace. The very last thing you did to me was to assault me with viciousness. Your phone call cut my heart into halves, your letter left a thousand cuts in my flesh. Ah, you are vicious enough to disregard everything that I did in the past, leaving me to wallow in sadness alone. Ah, I am stupid enough to allow Fate to taunt me, endangering myself on someone else's behalf for the sake of love. (x2) Ah, I am not vicious enough, that is the reason why I forgive everything that you did in the past, leaving myself to recover from sadness alone. Ah, I am stupid enough to allow Glory to lure me, endangering myself on someone else's behalf for the sake of love. (x2)"

To be fair, it is often hard to tell the difference between rock and pop, because a lot of rock is also pop (and therefore a considerable amount of pop is rock, at least from about 1958-2005).
