That's a tough question for me. My dad was proud of me when I decided to make a public profession of faith and join the church, he was a youth Sunday school teacher, his dad was a deacon for over half his life, but away from church he did pretty much whatever he wanted. I only saw my dad drink beer ONCE. But, that aside, he has a nasty temper, was abusive in the home, used foul language, cursed/swore (I consider dropping f*bombs and saying "g**d***" to be completely different things), and would quote the Bible out of context to get whatever he wanted.
My mom could be just as nasty, but I always found it was a reaction to my dad. She was a totally different person after he died. She's more consistent about reading the Bible than I am, though I started studying the Bible in earnest at an earlier age than she did. But she's also EXTREMELY reserved, thinks I play praise and worship music too loud on the piano, and gets really nervous when I'm around in some religious context because I tend to be a bit more of a loose cannon (I play loud Christian music and I ask tough questions--she doesn't like fielding questions about religion, never knows how to answer).
So depending on how you define "religious" and what it means to be more or less religious than someone else--my dad was more overbearing and authoritarian; my mom doesn't speak up much (unless, of course, I'm doing something cool in church), but overall was much better at putting Christian principles into practice in daily life. For me, I'd have to say it was my mom.
