Maybe the GOP needs to die out and take their archaic BS with them.

Then us Libertarians can get in there and start fixing everything the progressives and the Dems have been f*****g up for the last century.

Libertarians don't have centuries of tradition and religion to organize people to their rally. A deficit for the GOP doesn't mean a positive for the Libertarians until they can communicate what they can do effectively.

The upside to this election is that the GOP either gets it's sh*t together or gets out of the way. The upside to a Romney win would have been the Democrats remembering that they claim to stand for civil liberties and less hawkish foreign policy. .

Libertarians are a minority fringe right group of the GOP/Republicans. It would be very hard to see Libertarians seize power from the GOP or Democrats through the current democratic election process.

Cause libertarians are so much more sane.

And do you intend to succeed and survive in a ruthless libertarian world?

To get elected you have to have a following, Libertarians lack that, they are dissatisfied Republicans. They want no regulation, done by nobody. That will not work in practice, because it cannot be enforced.

Going for 51%, you have to take away the supporters of Republicans and Democrats. The idiot vote. The last person to run as intelligent, and expecting the American Public to support wisdom, was Adlie Stevenson, who proved people will not vote for intelligent government.

Now a political party that wears uniforms, holds torchlit rallies, marches through the streets with horseshoes on their boot heels could gain some votes. This time it may come from San Francisco because those guys like to dress sharp.

Being against things just does not work, there are just too many things.

Economics is the most important subject people will jump out of windows to avoid.

A platform is needed that demands change of other people that cannot fight back, and sounds good.

We can no longer tolerate the wasted lives of our school children, they must work for our great nation, and not be coddled by parents, they do not grow up to be good citizens, because they were never taught how. We depend on them to produce our Social Security, and provide the workforce of tomorrow, that is why I am calling for a mandatory draft of all Sixth Graders, for a ten year term of national service.

Also all educators will be drafted, and education will not be optional. China drafts second graders for their Olympics teams, or Doctorate in Physics, and if we are to hold our place in the world, we must do it through the children now, to have the forces to prevail in the future.

In an ideal world parents can have them till they start school, where they become Public Property, for our entire culture and economy depends on turning them into the best they can be. Parents will be free to work more, will have more money, less taxes to support a non working education system, and keeping children in uniforms in barracks will reduce the overall cost of raising them.

We must take steps now or we may not have a future we would want to live in. Each child has to be support and caretaker of two retired, and they will not get there on their own.

The America Service Corp is the only way to secure our country, our lives, our fortunes, and our future.

More upsides: Social Security and Medicare have been saved. Obamacare will move forward. We won't bankrupt the country on a ridiculous military spending spree, to get the number of horses and bayonets back up to 1917 levels.

Libertians believe in small government as possible. People do not need to regulation how to spend their money and take
care of themselves. You would be surprised what the free market can offer.

Ebay and Amazon merchants need little regulation. They receive bad feedback if they do a bad job or sell dodgy gear. They do not need beurocracy or government officials to check these things. In this information age, there are so many possibilities. But unfortunately, the goverment believes it knows best and takes our money to pay for these things.

The government is like a company that forces you to buy their products. They have no incentive to downsize, streamline, or to become more competitive. If the government had a manopaly on cars, why would it invest in new technology.

When did this happen?

As far as I know, not one penny was cut on military spending and there hasn't been a single change to Social Security or Medicare.

The upside is that maybe we'll start paying for more of the government we get. You see a lot of conservatives who claim to disavow Bush and his spendthrift ways but not many that are willing to pay the very real bills from his policies.

I'd say 100% the wealthy cuts die and 30% chance the middle cuts die. They all need to go. Bush couldnt pass them for more than 10 years for a reason.
