Heh, this even made the news in Denmark.

The US takes the presidential election waaaay to seriously... I remember someone interviewing a couple who wanted to emigrate because Bush got elected in 2000.

I am not a huge fan of conservatives, but I am less of a fan of blanket statements. Most conservatives I know would definitely cringe if they were compared to that woman, and rightfully so.

Extremists like that are the vast minority of every circle imaginable. To say that is the picture of the common everyday conservative is not playing fair at all. People we disagree with on political grounds have a right to be human, and to not be lumped together with psychotic folk like this woman.
