Housing Associations

I thought I'd post this in here since the UK Government is bringing different changes to council housing i.e. making it temporary for new tenants rather than permanent, depending on the local authority.

I was wondering - what are the rights of those who live in housing associations? Do they have less rights? If so - what? And, are there any benefits to living in one? All I can think of is a lack of rude, hostile repairmen.

Expand the green belt a tad with mutli-use housing that maintain an architectual continuity of the UK landscape, and you won't have to settle for atrocious pre-fabs that also litter the American landscape, or, for the stingy preferences of the local housing authorities.

That has nothing to do with my post.
