The plain honest truth is that the conflict is not one sided like many of y'all believe. Both sides have done wicked deeds, as shown by Ben Swann in this video. Thoughts? I personally believe that even though both sides have faults, Israel's violation of libertarian principles has been the leading cause of conflict in the crisis we see today

I feel like King Canute on this, trying to convince certain people but i will just give my 2 cents.

To blame the Palestinians is at best over simplifying the matter and at worst, condoning attempted genocide. Hamas do not represent the views of all Palestinians. There are elements such as fatah and the socialist PFLP who desire dialogue with Israel. Unfortunately, Israeli aggression is exacerbating Palestinian public support for Hamas. Its a proverbial vicious cycle.

Israel as the dominant power, holds all the cards. They hold all the keys and are guarding all the doors. They have all the nuclear weapons, battleships, tanks and jet bombers. There is no imminent risk of Israel being annilhated and they have no concept of proportional response. The Palestinians only weapon, which are little more than glorified bottle rockets, are grossly inefficient and only a direct hit poses a threat to life - Israels answer is a bunch of state of the art cluster bombs in a populated centre. Hamas's rhetoric about wiping out Israel is purely bravado and hot air. Israel needs to curtail its military intervention until such time that a moderate alternative to Hamas can take authority.

By the way, there are Israelis out there who want Palestine wiped out as badly as Hamas want Israel wiped out. Likud and Hamas are both sides of the same rotten coin.

Agree or diasagree with me, I don't care anymore. I am done with this topic on this forum, and this is where I'm at. Some of the pro Israel people are every bit as badly grounded in their dogma as the Hamas extremists they claim to loathe so much.

The Hamas thugs are now getting advance Iranian supplied rockets. They are well passed the pop gun and bottle rocket stage.

Hamas will soon have the capability of doing what the German V2 did. Not precisely aimed but killing a lot of civilians on the ground. If that starts to happen, Israel may be compelled to turn Gaza into a parking lot.

During WW2 that is what American and British air forces did to Germany. They wrecked the place and over 600,000 civilians were killed, many women and children. That is the nature of modern war.

Those who sow the wind, will in due course reap the whirlwind.

Not to be pedantic or anything, but the German V2 was almost 70 years ago.

Israel is capable of doing what the United States can do today.

An anti-missile laser cannon which is also part of the Israeli arsenal.

i certainly hope the allegations of white phosporous use in civilian areas turn out to be false but from all the footage floating around it really looks like it is happening,

they even hit a UN outpost with the stuff, all the staff swore it to be white phosporous and have accused israel of war crimes.

Ironically the bombs did not destroy the German will to fight. Try the gas at Halabaja.

True. But in the case of 600,000 civilians it destroyed their will to live.

It does not take long for the hardcore Zionists to leap into eliminationist and genocidal rhetoric.

At any rate, Hamas won this round. The buffer zone Israel imposed inside Gaza has collapsed. Israel for the first time agreed not to go hunting people in Gaza. This is completely new but there may be a trick in there somewhere. That is, some may be telling the Nut n Yahoo to completely let Gaza go and take it completely out of its security perimeter so it can guarantee the Jewish majority in the rest of Palestine. Hamas of course cannot accept this, as far as it is concerned the West Bank and Gaza are one, if they want to go two states it has to be two real states and the Palestinian state in the occupied territories. Otherwise, a one-state solution and a mixed country will happen.

Do you believe that the current state of Israel has a right to exist?

If a state requires genocidal and eliminationist rhetoric to continue existing, it ceases to be a state that deserves to exist.

Which means that every single country governed by Sharia does not deserve to exist. WWIII, here we come.

Oh, and any Palestinian state which involves Hamas in any way belongs to the same group.
