Full stop! Are you people implying that we can no longer *trust* politicians? That is just pure nonsense...

Our supreme leaders are always right. I mean, they said so themselves!

Politics has always been a game of liars and shysters. It was so in Rome, why not in the U.S.?

You mean politicians aren't actually working when they put on hard hats?

Well, what's the use of having elections, if you can't mock the candidates?

Mr. Ryan was lucky, at least, that he didn't show up during meal time, or he would have actually come in contact with some Americans of modest means, and might have even felt obliged to taste the food. Oh, the horrors!

Instead of putting on an apron and pretending to clean some pots and pans where he wasn't especially welcomed, his campaign could have easily photoshopped his image into a picture to make it appear that he cared about helping people.

Here is another Ryan photo-op

Image

He goes to a rally, dons a t-shirt, and pretends to care about Mumia Abu-Jamal. Rather than risk catching cooties from other rally-attenders, he could just as well have had a staff member photoshop him into the event. It wouldn't have been any big deal.

Here is Paul Ryan, posing for fetishist voters

Of course, that's already Ryan's core constituency, so probably no reason for the event, other than to shore up the base.

Presidential campaigns do this all the time. I'm sure Obama does it too.

And, if you read their tax returns, you'll see that Paul Ryan, despite making less money than Joe Biden, donates 4x more money to charity than Biden.

So perhaps you want to get the full story on a candidates charitable activities.

But what makes what Ryan did particularly disgusting is that he wants to enact severe cutbacks on social programs for the poor - which would then be redistributed to the rich. This stunt, considering that fact, even more shows Ryan kicking the poor in the balls.

And Joe Biden has no problems with taxes taking other people's money and giving to the poor but can't be bothered to donate his own money to charity.

Ryan on the other hand, is giving above and beyond to help the poor, maybe because he believes in private charity, not government programs.

But that wouldn't fit with the media's portrayal of Republicans as laughing while the poor starve.

I already knew that Paul Ryan was, like most politicians, a scumbag.
