What we do up here in my area is an amnesty day. If you have an illegal gun, or just a gun you want gone, you call the station and bring it in. No matter what the weapon is, they take it and out you go, no questions asked.
So if I brought in an autocannon, a rocket launcher, stinger missiles or perhaps an anti-tank missile launcher, they'd be quite happy to accept that no questions asked?
Let me qualify my previous statement with "within reason."
They'd take them, I can pretty much guarantee that, but there would be questions asked. For one, they'd be asking all the local military bases to check and make sure nothing is missing.
However, they wouldn't be able to charge you with anything. Amnesty is guaranteed, no exceptions.
