And that's a good thing. 40 years ago, this comming June, there was something wonderful, going on at Haight Ashbury. The Hippie Movement was in full swing, and there was also a music festival that went on, for three days. For the younger members, that misic festival was The Monteray Pop Festival. It was the very first gathering of it's kind. If any of you older members have any Hippie stories to tell me, you can post them, here. I would be interested in reading about your fond memories of 1967. I don't know where to put this topic, so I'm putting it in this Forum. It looks like I've found a new obsession to take the place of an old one. I'll keep the lid on this one, and post random posts about it, every three days.

Peace

Why did I post this? Was I drunk, or something?

The only problem i had was you wanted people who were alive then and old enouh to
remember and be one of the samll percent that were hippies so thats like maybe a few people on the entire site and they likely never saw this thread.

They were probably too tripped out to remember it anyways.
