Great scientific methodology there... hurl insults at opposing viewpoints and opposing people childish names.

Yay for your superiority.

The most important thing about science is what it can do for the human race. When researching cancer, concluding that "God did it" contributes nothing to the quest for a cure, while systematic logical investigation is the best way to find that cure. The scientific method isn't arbitrary; it is the one best way we've found to investigate the natural world and expand our knowledge of it.

Science is very important and I really love science and I am a professed science nerd. I actually love reading research science articles and love statistics. Wow too much nerdiness for one posting. Seriously my dream job is to do research in neurobiology and help people overcome addictions or help people with developmental disabilities, etc.

You can never have too much nerdiness in one post, especially in a "Computers, Math, Science, and Technology" thread!

I've never, ever heard of a doctor or scientist (who happens to believe in "something") dismiss a problem or a disease as "God did it". To even assume they would is pure, hateful bias.

This guy makes a lot of sense!

Bookmarked.

"Unicorn War?"

Where are you going to find enough virgins to lead them all into battle?

sorry i erased the "unicorn war" part of my last post in favor of an EPIC UNICORN... but would a Unicorn war be restricted to just equine-type unicorns, or can we throw some unicorn bears and unicorn wolves in there for extra awesome?

this also seems like a good time to wonder out loud about who would win in a fight between Richard "the Survival Machine" Dawkins and Neil "Pluto Crusher" deGrasse Tyson
