Hi all. Today I want to talk about Bernie Sanders. Sanders came close to winning the Democratic primaries this year. Why did he fail? Well ... let's look at the facts.

Many people have claimed that Bernie lost because the "Bernie bros" ruined his reputation. Apparently a bunch of MRAs voted for the Bern and this made him look bad ... except that this never happened.

Trump was the guy who won the election. This means that the entire "Bernie bro" controversy was nothing. Hardly anyone cared.

Here's the real reason why Bernie lost: He pulled the race card too soon.

Bernie's "If you're white then you don't know what it's like to be poor." comment probably cost him the election. Most Americans are poor and white. This perfectly explains why Trump won the election. Trump pandered to poor whites for the whole election cycle. That's how he won.

That's how democracy works. Pander to the majority and you win. It's a fairly harsh truth but it is a truth nonetheless.

Lately, some liberals have been throwing around the terms "brogressive", "brocialist" and "manarchist". These hilarious words are used to describe people who focus on economic issues but downplay the importance of racism and sexism. The words are hilarious because a "brocialist" is exactly what America needs right now.

America wants populism. Brocialists are the epitome of populism. America needs a politician who will pander to poor whites when he is running. Bernie should have waited until after the election to bring up that race stuff. I'm not saying that racial equality is bad. I'm saying that it doesn't win elections ... so a smart politician should save it for later.

Dear Democrats: If you want to beat Trump in 2020, run a brogressive. A brogressive would get a ton of votes. Trust me on this one. You can thank me later.

I'm not saying that The Amazing Atheist should run as a democrat in 2020. I'm just saying that ... wait ... that's exactly what I'm saying. Say what you will about TAA. He's basically the liberal Donald Trump. He has a long history of making disgustingly offensive comments ... but look at Trump. Trump still won. TAA often gets his facts wrong ... but ... again ... look at Trump. You could argue that "TAA isn't not a real liberal", but Clinton wanted to create a no-fly zone over Syria. Who is the real liberal here? TAA is vulgar. He's charismatic. He's arrogant. He's rude. He's vicious towards his opponents. He is what America voted for on November 8. How do you think he got so popular on YouTube?

He lost because in most states it is difficult to register to vote in primaries. The primaries heavily favored people already officially affiliated with the DNC. It was not friendly to independent voters, especially people voting in primaries for the first time. It's also possible the vote was rigged against Bernie. I really think progressives need to hold the DNC to the fire. I think if evidence of vote tampering or something comes out s**t will hit the fan. People are wasting their time protesting Trump. They need to protest the DNC.

Get Elizabeth Warren to run. Wall Street and the right fear her.

Democrat donors fear her too.

For example, Marc Cuban told Clinton, "You pick Warren, I'm going for Trump".

Marc Cuban can go to hell.

Like Trump, he's also an idiot. No.

America needs a candidate who is electable and willing to fight global warming. The survival of the human species is at stake here.

He lost because the DNC had an agenda to shove Clinton down our throats.

Most Americans believe in global warming. Most of them would be less of an idiot than TAA.

No it didn't. That's exactly the opposite of what the evidence supports.

Bernie was very popular with white voters. He lost because Clinton did better with minorities (and old people). All of Sanders' wins came in states with hefty white majorities (yellow = Clinton, Green = Sanders).

This. People don't understand Hillary's popularity with minorities because thy just don't interact with minorities, which is what leads them to the delusional conspiracy theories.

That said, she still didn't catch fire with the Obama coalition the way Obama originally did, whether you're talking about blacks, Latinos, young people, etc. Very largely, I think, because everyone saw her as she was - - an old, rich, white lady with dubious Wall Street connections.
