What do you think about gay marriage and adoption right for homosexuals

I still could not agree on same-sex marriage but the right to adoption for same-sex couples definitely NOT. As much as I dread to think what the gays or Lesbians can do for such a child.

Recently, France has granted gays the right to adoption, a little fault Frenchmen themselves, they chose leftist president, maybe next time they will wiser and choose conservative decent, christian preferably Catholic :D who to take away gay right to adoption, but will retain the right to gay marriage. That would be the optimal solution

Should Catholics be allowed to adopt children? Bear in mind they could raise them as Catholics!

Gay marriage: Yes.

Gay adoption: Yes.

Why not?

2 parents are better than none, gay or not. I've never heard any substantiated claims against gay adoption.

The state shouldn't be involved in marriage at all, what agreement two or however many people make together should be their business.

Completely support both, there's no reason that isn't based on religion or tradition to prevent two consenting adults of the same gender from entering into a marriage contract with each other. As for same-sex adoption, sadly there is a significant lack of adoptive parents right now, especially for older children, which means that if it's a choice between two parents of the same gender or none, it only makes sense to go for the former.

Do you have any evidence of gay couples being more likely to sexually assault their children than heterosexual couples?

American catholics are actually far more likely to support gay rights than both protestants and atheists, according to various surveys.

-------------------------------------------

Right-wingers tend to be suportive as well (note: George W. Bush is not the emperor of capitalism).

Many gay couples have raised children together—and many of these children turned out just fine. If you ignore judgemental, homophobic a**holes, these children are in no way disadvantaged against other children; most homosexual parents actually do both mom (eg. bake for christmas) and dad (eg. fishing trips) stuff with the children.

A law against equal right, would just promote the idea that homosexuals are different from heterosexuals apart from what turns them on sexually.

Prove gay marriage and adoption are wrong for reasons other than 'because God said so', please.

The burden of proof is on you. God didn't mind that King David probably was bisexual.

Straight parents are doing things that are wrong to kids the world over as we speak.

Because everywhere in nature to the creation of new life, you need both male and female gametes. These are the laws of nature.

And that means gay people can't care for those offspring who were unwanted by their original parents because...?
