Here is the music video,

that has sent the denizens of the internet into an uproar.

The Young Turks are outraged

The Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/0 ... ostpopular

calls it "the most racist song in recent memory" and "way worse than you can imagine."

In my opinion, some of the lyrics are a bit raunchy, but are considerably tamer than the material to which many kids listen on the radio these days. It would be highly inappropriate for the Disney channel.

As for racist, well, Johnny Rebel certainly takes the cake for that category

Other than a few of the lyrics that could be altered, I saw the song as a cute parody of the "Yellow Fever" phenomenon.

What say ye?

I'm more offended by the complete lack of talent on display, the song is just awful.

I wasn't the least little bit impressed with the "Asian Girl" video and didnt even take the time to watch the whole thing.
However, since the Young Turks are offended by it, I like it more than I thought I did but that doesnt mean I care to watch it again.
The third video was too boring to bother watching more than about 30 seconds.

"Our Land - Our Dream" sounds an excellent moniker for an Eastern European fascist party.

Is the song racist? I wouldn't go that far. Rather, it's more a matter of being insensitive to Asian Americans, even though the band obviously hadn't intended it that way. They're more guilty of not thinking this through than of the real racism spewed by that as*hole Johny Rebel. Though in making a musical video of an amazingly hot Asian American girl doing a striptease, they certainly achieved that end :D.

Okay, I guess I must have missed that "slanted eyes" lyric when I first watched the video - which qualifies the band of being unthinkingly and stupidly racist. I suppose I was way too mesmerized by the gorgeous hottie stripping down to to panties.

Well, the Band, having received a huge number of vicious threats, is apparently planning to delete the song from the internet. But, the Johnny Rebel stuff, which has no redeeming qualities whatsoever (except to remind us of ugly racist attitudes), stays.

"It's sexist b***h...you let down your gender" (paraphrasing)

Is what I got out of the video, before I lost interest.

I believe the Asian fetish that many people have is a long similar lines they just don't explicitly state this.

I agree with them. Unfortunately, quite a lot of people didn't see it that way. My sense of humour has gotten me in a lot of trouble in the past, too.

Randy Newman's first major hit

was similarly taken personally by a lot of altitudinally challenged folks. He had intended the song, not as a personal attack on short people, but as a satire on racist attitudes of the day. But, quite a lot of people didn't see it that way and were offended.

Hahaha that video was so bad it was funny some there are a few Asian people that will be offended by this and a few will even have it as a ring tone on there phone. Asian culture in general tends to not let things like this bother them one bit also I hate the young turks they have as many negative responses to what they say as positive hope they get canceled ASAP.

"Are there any queers in the theater tonight? Get them up againt the wall!"

However, context is important here: the entire album tells the story of a singer named Pink Floyd who is slowly becoming insane and eventually joins a neo-nazi group.
