I agree with them. Unfortunately, quite a lot of people didn't see it that way. My sense of humour has gotten me in a lot of trouble in the past, too.

was similarly taken personally by a lot of altitudinally challenged folks. He had intended the song, not as a personal attack on short people, but as a satire on racist attitudes of the day. But, quite a lot of people didn't see it that way and were offended.
