How does it look like with crime under Alcohol?
How does it look like with crime under the influence of alcohol??
I am a Pole many perceive my country as a nation of drunks, but from the results of the Eurostat research, Poland is the country with the smallest consumption of spirits among all EU countries xD
Recently I can not sleep because of heat, I watch documentaries about the courts at night, these are our Polish courts, American, Australian, etc.
I once wanted by a lawyer because they earn loot of money?
In one of these programs the issue of attempted murder of a father by a 16-year-old boy, moreover, from a good home, one day this boy came back home drunk, in my country you can buy alcohol only from the age of 18, but there is no age limit at alcohol consumption. This kid had quite a good reputation, and my father was probably an architect, so he was an educated man
But he was quite severe, he wanted to beat him with a belt, for punishment, but he was also hit by his son, a piece of tube, and lost consciousness, but the boy quickly realized what he did and called 112 (alam number) call an ambulance
And then the paramedics called the police.
Police officers wrote protocols, father was charged a small charge for the use of corporal punishments against children (they were banned in 2010)
However, the boy was charged with attempts to murder his father without premeditation, in the conditions of crossing the boundaries of the necessary defense.
This Father did not want his son to be judged that his son was sorry, but the judge said that the matter must be held, because this is a trial of murder, admittedly not intentional, but still.
The judge said that alcohol is an aggravating factor in our Polish criminal law, not soothing, that if the boy was sober he would know that it is not allowed to hit other people with a heavy tube
The judge issued a ban on alcohol consumption by the kid until he turned 18, and ordered him to participate in psychotherapy for people with anger problems.
