Every time I see it, I crack up. But I kind of miss the pic of you. That was you, wasn't it?

it was indeed me myself and I, proudly showing off my paisley sports jacket. but I was told by somebody close to me that I look strange, so I guess I will defer to the pic that looks less strange. the character in the avatar is actor art carney, playing the twilight zone [episode "night of the meek"] character henry corwin, a dissipated and down on his heels department store santa who's better days were long behind him, but he finds a curious kind of redemption at the end.

It's common sense. I don't need them to tell me.

Historically Republicans have been outnumbered. They relied on a motivated base of older voters and cross over Democrats to win nationally. Democrats have more casual voters who might or might not turn out in any given year. That's why R's back five or six ways to restrict voting and really don't like expanded voting hours or days even as it's become more popular with the average voter. The trend is not helpful to the Republican party because it lets more casual voters in.

I didn't think your pic looked weird at all.
Never would have known that was Art Carney.
It's almost Christmas anyway!

I should make an avatar - how do you do that? Just get a picture and make it really small somehow?

as long as it is less than 15.77k in size and no larger than 130 x 160 pixels. just find something on the web or choose from among WP's selection of premade avatars. there are thingies on the web which can size the avatar to fit into WP. you go into your "edit profile" page to install an avatar or change an avatar, it is at the bottom of the page.

It's funny, Republicans will go to great lengths to deny any racism in denying the vote to anyone. But they figure they can circumvent that charge by simply admitting they're trying to block the Democratic vote.
