That video is from "Storm Clouds Gathering", the same group (individual?) claiming that the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing was orchestrated by the US government.

MY father says that because the US has spent all these money on the Iraq war, they are now poor. And by the looks of it, they will refuse to admit defeat at a economic loss and fight on.

I don't think things will happen quite so overtly, the tyranny will progress very slowly over a couple of generations. As to not alarm the public and trigger resistance. Once it does happen a vast majority of the public will love their oppressors, the ones who don't will just quietly "disappear".

We're heading more for a "Brave new world" rather than "1984".
