There is a thread in N&CE as well:

Alberta Firm Meticulon Selling Autistic Job Strengths

I wanted to bring this up here because I'm not sure if this is good for autistics or not. It's nice to be recognized for presumed strengths, but being categorized and seen as "other" and a source of exploitation makes me feel creepy. Is it just me? I'm no good at tech stuff and I'm sure would be rejected by Meticulon, so maybe I'm bitter.

All of our consultants are on the autism spectrum and each one has uniquely powerful abilities that make them more precise, diligent, and exceptional. Customer surveys reveal that these highly gifted people consistently complete work faster and more accurately than “typical” employees. Let us astound you with our team.

I just don't like the "them" talk. I'm not a "them." Meticulon seems to view autistic people as some sort of resource by virtue of our diagnosis. Separating autistic people into a group in this manner could lead to society viewing us a a united group when actually we're individuals.
