.....swift and immediate, as Sean "P. Diddy" Combs was just arrested for assaulting someone with a kettlebell, at his son's football game. He's charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

If we ban all the tools, impliments or objects that people use to transgress other people, then everything will be illegal.

No fair using sarcasm on us. Sarcasm should be banned on WP. :P

A kettle bell huh?!? That's quite an odd choice. At least he didn't have time to reload. :D

Notice in the article it mentions that he was also charged with 4 counts of illegal gun possession. Why does he need the guns when he has kettlebells!! !???

Let's face it. There is a demand for guns because they are very good at way they do - killing. Whether you think people should have guns is a personal opinion. But who buys a kettlebell for self defense? And besides, notice how no one actually ended up dead in this scenario.

So your suggestion is to replace all guns with kettlebells?

I like it. We should extend this to the armed forces too.

But won't that start us down a slippery slope that will lead us to noogies and pillow fights? 8O

I think maybe you missed the point. I was making a joke.

My point is people don't carry precisely for the reason that they don't make convenient attack weapons or defense weapons.

Guns are efficient killing machines. Kettlebells are not. I don't want anyone, and this ESPECIALLY includes the military having killing machines. I'm making a very simple stupid obvious point. And I get labeled as an idealistic little wussy (in so many words) and I think it's just really telling when this is the only counterargument people can come up with.

I just think it's sad, so many people dying. That's all I'm saying.

Well, background checks should be required when purchasing kettle bells.

This would have been funnier if he was just awkwardly sitting in the bleachers with a kettle bell at his feet or sitting next to him. Twenty questions raised that no one really wants to know the answer to.
