Cynicism can be very useful for people in power.
We can't do this or that, human nature. Only a limited amount of things are possible. Only the things that allow the rulers to stay in power.
Lenin used cynicism to persuade people into supporting his vanguard party. Communists who disagreed with him, he claimed were impractical.
If man is flawed, what makes man fit to rule others?
I agree humans are corruptible, this is why I believe we shouldn't have access to institutions that allow unequal power distribution.
We all agree that the world moves around, right? So why do you believe our behavior is fixed regardless of environment/institution? I'm trying to understand passives and moderates, who agree things are bad, but say we just can't do anything because it's impractical or 'human nature', what ever that means to them.
Take a look at what the science is saying

While I don't agree with this guy on government, there is a lot of truth to what he is saying.
