That's not cool, khaoz. That is pretty close to the definition of trolling, isn't it, to start a controversial thread and not even follow it (much less reply to or debate with those who disagree) when you're the one who started it? That to me seems like a lack of integrity, so pot kettle black remove the log from your own eye etc.
That being said, yeah Conservatives suck. It seems most of their agenda is to favor the rich by giving the rich blatantly unfair advantages and subsidies at the expense of everyone else and at the expense of the planet. And conservatives are anti-science if the science conflicts with their religious beliefs (the extreme right has many fundamentalist nut jobs) or if admitting the science is true would interfere with their making a quick buck at the expense of present and future generations.
There was a study in the past few years that analyzed the brains of self-described liberals compared to self-described conservatives. I found it very interesting that the fear center of the brain is larger in people who label themselves conservative. Fear plays a larger part in the decision making process of conservatives, and of course fear-mongering is right wing talk show grist.
