lies about Obama and policy, lies about their intentions on voting restrictions, distortions about their religious devotions. These are the reasons I will not support Conservatives, especially Tea Party Conservatives. They too proficient in the arts of deception and lies. ZI know ALL politicians will lie, but Conservatives do it with pride, and then lie about even that. And now THIS:

Which has been going on for a few years now. Anyone on disability or approaching retirement age, beware anything Conservatives say on the subject. And I will not follow this topic because there are those who know this is my weakness and will bait me.

1. The article states: The agency said in 2011 that eliminating the mailings would save $70 million a year.

In 2011, it would of been president Obama's appointee promoting this, so blame the Democrats or President Obama if it bothers you.

2. Edit: This is what president Obama was planning .. to cut social security for people .. he relented so far .. in changing to the CPI to the chained CPI

"Obama had offered to make a controversial change in how the government calculates inflation for Social Security and other federal benefits in a way that could lead to cuts in benefits for some Americans".

That's not cool, khaoz. That is pretty close to the definition of trolling, isn't it, to start a controversial thread and not even follow it (much less reply to or debate with those who disagree) when you're the one who started it? That to me seems like a lack of integrity, so pot kettle black remove the log from your own eye etc.

That being said, yeah Conservatives suck. It seems most of their agenda is to favor the rich by giving the rich blatantly unfair advantages and subsidies at the expense of everyone else and at the expense of the planet. And conservatives are anti-science if the science conflicts with their religious beliefs (the extreme right has many fundamentalist nut jobs) or if admitting the science is true would interfere with their making a quick buck at the expense of present and future generations.

There was a study in the past few years that analyzed the brains of self-described liberals compared to self-described conservatives. I found it very interesting that the fear center of the brain is larger in people who label themselves conservative. Fear plays a larger part in the decision making process of conservatives, and of course fear-mongering is right wing talk show grist.

Another example of someone making unsupportable derogatory generalizations...

Maybe the OP means something by conservative other than you do. Perhaps you could describe aspects of conserve movements in the U.S that are about something other than what the OP described.

It doesn't matter what specific group he's talking about, the kind of broad brush generalizing that he's quickly making a personal trademark of is always wrong.
