I see pictures of militia snipers and reports of them taking out BLM personnel, but I have yet to see pictures of any BML snipers. All I see of BLM ("heavily outnumbered by militia") is mostly standing with weapons that they would normally carry when confronting people who have previously said that they have weapons and will do anything necessary to protect....

So the BLM were responding to imminent threat with a display of readiness, not any clearly stated intention to fire upon anyone. They were there to round up cattle. Their display of weaponry was a response to the Cliven family statements of being armed and ready to defend. Defend their right to disobey the law.

Note, I have said nothing incendiary above, and this is hardly flame baiting.

This is an important issue. I am just monitoring what is going on.

Well for one snipers dont usually stand shoulder to shoulder with people on the front line. Have you ever seen photos of ANY professional snipers where you knew there were some? This is like asking why you have never seen photos of sasquach

It disgusts me to no end how ignorant you and a lot of other people are about this issue and the white wash that is going on. The entire property is Harry Reids pet project that he wanted for him self so he had this stupid turtle declared endangered when it clearly isnt and there is no evidence that the cattle are hurting its population.

Its a far far far faaaaar stretch to say that what the guy is doing is really illegal. If you will notice, there have been no impact studies on this turtle where the cattle are grazing. Wouldnt that be the sticking point right now if it were a real thing? You dont find it odd that the entire reason for the stand off in the first place has been totally forgotten? Reid wants to it remain a non issue because its a FAKE issue he drummed up to do a land grab. If this was really about some stupid turtle I can promise you that the dinosaur liberal media would be playing the poor endangered lizard story ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL day long but they havent even mentioned it once. The entire thing is a joke.

Whats even worse is that there are PLENTY of places in this country where legitimately endangered species are being eradicated RIGHT NOW and this case just shows that your government doesnt really care at all. In these real documented case of human caused extinction do you usually see the government showing up with guns building an exclusion zone in order to preserve our planet? Do you really believe that your government gives a damn about an endangered species? Because I can think of LOTS of places in this country where an army of heavily armed soldiers and snipers would be an excellent and welcome thing in preserving certain animals from eradication. AND - THAT - WILL - NEVER - ACTUALLY - HAPPEN

This same rancher today went off on a racist rant, claiming blacks would be better off as slaves. That's the sort of person the right is championing, as are the militia types flocking to his defense. And this same rancher, who the right has called a patriot, has denied the existence of the United States government. Real patriotic American, that one.

Well if there is an endangered lizard or turtle involved, I'd rather have them around that a racist ass hole.I was sympathetic to the rancher at first,I have none for him now.
