Yep.
I find it funny that people continue to refer to statements that were made many decades ago, as if they should be considered infallible. Of course, this doesn't even take into account the different interpretations that one can draw, as the article explains.
And of course the constitution is a living document. Sometimes changes are made for the better, other times for the worst (as in the influences by the NRA).
