things are going in the right direction when people have to be paid to pray. I wish all restaurants advertised such practices so I would know what establishments to avoid.

Why do you take such offense ? Does it remind you that you might burn in hell for eternity ?

Dear God, I pray to you that this chicken will not give me salmonella food poisoning. :P

Pretty cynical practice that undermines what Christianity is about if you ask me. Being an atheist, I probably wouldn't want to do business with such a self-righteous diner, in any event.

Ditto. I wouldn't set foot in the place.

They don't specify what deity you are praying to,so I suppose praying to Moloch would still get you a discount.

Meh, doesn't bother me. Would eating kosher or halal bother you?

So this is religious discrimination.....and the local officials allow it? Someone will probably sue.

At least the owner didn't say non-prayers have to pay double.....or the "long hair's" experience of just being ignored.

I saw an article on TV about it, the restaurant's policy is that it can be any religion.

Great place for a bunch of Satanists to get together for lunch then. "Excuse me, waiter, can we have some chalk please... before we pray we need to mark a pentagram on the table. Oh and have you got any chicken blood?". :P

I don't take offense. I think it's a hoot. As for spending an eternity in "hell," I don't care. I don't believe in this "hell" you speak of. And, every member of my family, other than myself, pray before every meal, quietly. Not for attention. Not for some material gain, such as a "discount."

Nothing would come of it. The people running the place have the right to give discounts for whatever reason they want.
