RT is saying that Iranians who watch Iranian state TV news believe that the USA/UK are purposely giving ISIS ez access to social media- so that ISIS can defame itsself by displaying its attrocities. Which would in effect make ISIS a propaganda arm of the US government! And therefore ISIS would not be real villians. They would be sock puppet villians for the purpose of justifying a US reinvasion of Iraq. An invasion with a cover purpose of defending the locals from the nasty ISIS, but would really be for some other purpose. That purpose being perhaps- for the USA to use Iraq to launch an invasion of Syria so that the USA can get rid of Russia's friend Assad.

ISIS is made up international young hoodlums many of whom might well be social media savvy. And people tend to love to photograph their atrocities ( I guess thats half of the fun). So for the moment I lean to the belief that iSIS are real villians, and not hired murderers and sockpuppets of Washington.

But who knows?

ISIS and al-Qaeda both have came into existence because of the US, whether or not it was deliberate or blowback caused from bad policy is another discussion. T

I get the impression that in Middle East cultures you stand out as insane if you're NOT paranoid. They do tend to go in for conspiracy theories over there.

Yeah, no s**t! --So many of them in fact that it's impossible to keep track of them. And not only books and movies, but websites, religions, magazines, that cater to every paranoid delusion that the 'Tinfoil Hat' crowd could pssibly concieve.

Too bad we don't have aliens and lizardmen in our conspiracy theories; just Americans, Iran and Zionists - boring.
