This poll is inspired by the NPR article dated 2014/12/01, and titled: "Does It Matter Who Accepts Evolution?"

The question was raised in the the fifth paragraph, and is as follows:

In your opinion, what is the most effective and efficient way that we as humans can come to have knowledge of our world and ourselves within it?

(NOTE: Multiple Answers and Re-Voting Are Allowed.)

I personally think the answer for the best way is systematic empirical investigation, otherwise we would still be living in caves, and out in the wild naked, however elements of emotion, intuition, and instinct per the other 4 ways cannot be excluded for what it means to have the best of life in human nature balance.

Science is gaining ground in these areas, but the science of the human mind/body in balance with nature, is still sorely lacking as only recently terms for human empathy have been agreed upon, per systematic empirical investigation.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that Philosophy makes a good second choice, but only after scientific investigation has first been exhausted.
