What do you think about problem of assimilation of foreign culture, i mainly mean Islamist Sharia law and stuff like that?


Hopefully this does not apply to my country, because the Polish population is homogeneous, I'm not opposed to immigrants, but I think as it goes to a country will first need to learn the language and local customs.

I recently read a news that Islamist killed some "journalist" i wonder why France tolerate this any longer, if they cannot accept "secular Europe" so pack them into plane and send them where the come from.
I'm committed Christian Catholic but i would never force anyone to my beliefs, even my children if i have them, because i also belief that everyone have to own judgment and most of all free will.

I once talked about this with my brother told me that if he took guest to his home, and he began to bossing around, he will kick his as so much that wannabe new ruler would be end on the moon, so he would learn his place

We in Poland have such saying to "kick someone into moon" xD

I think assimilation is the problem--the expectation that any country can preserve a homogenous ethnic and religious culture and still function as a full participant in a global world.

When you look at the muslim population of France, you have to recognize that it is large, overwhelmingly secular, and overwhelmingly peaceful. There is at least some body of opinion that suggests that the Islamists' motivation in their attack on Charlie Hebdo was to foment anti-muslim sentiment in France in order to push secular muslims towards Islamists groups, who are having significant difficulty recruiting in France.

It seems to me that the smart approach is not assimilation. Canada has pursued a policy of multiculturalism for almost 50 years, and we have been remarkably free from violence within our borders--not immune, to be sure, but our most violent periods have come not from new Canadians, but from within.
