Yes a woman can although its not reported as much and probably does not happen as much it does indeed happen!

A woman can rape a man by having sex with him without his consent, such as when he is drunk, stoned, and/or asleep. His body will respond to physical stimulus, even though he may not be aware of it.

Being that there are now laws that say that not being able to giving consent for sex (due to unconsciousness, for example) is the same as saying "No", a man who has sex with an unconscious woman is committing rape.

Unfortunately, the common myth is that men always want sex, and would never pass up the chance to have sex even in their sleep.

If you think that no one would believe a woman when she says she's been raped, try to imagine a man explaining why (1) he did not want to have sex, and (2) why he did not want to have sex with a woman - especially a pretty woman.

That depends upon how we define rape. If we define it as "recieving sexual intercourse without having given consent", then of course men can be raped. But if we define it based on penetration without consent, then no. Most people, however, would agree with the first definition.

I remember reading a study on rape on college campuses (US) which found that rape (1st definition) of men by women was about as common as male-on-female rape.

Rape is any kind of sexual intercourse without consent, so YES, if a woman has unconsensual sex with a man, it is rape no matter what ridiculous bullcrap anybody spews out, like "Men want sex all the time!"

I agree that this is an important topic that needs to be discussed, but what are you hoping for when you make multiple very similar topics? It's not likely that you are going to get different answers from the same people, and most people here do seem to realise that women can rape, assault and otherwise hurt men.
