Pastor says robots are covered under Jesus's redemptive act. Well, lets get a robotic amen.

Robots don't have emotions and are not capable of independent thought. So I don't think they are capable of having religion, and I don't see why Jesus would save them, because they are just machines.

Unless they were like the robots in cartoons and movies that are sentient and have feeling and emotions, like Astroboy or Johnny Five, I can't understand why Jesus would save them. On the other hand, apparently Jesus doesn't bother saving people who "choose" to be gay, are of a non-Christian religion or no religion at all, are left-handed, and believe in science, evolution, dinosaurs, cave-people, donating blood and organs to save lives, and that the world revolves around the sun and not the other way around.

Oh wait, Jesus doesn't save anyone because he ISN'T REAL.

Whatever. I'm just glad somebody was willing to lend a sanctimonious image to my workstations and laptops. Too bad he probably won't extend this to manual transmissions & clutches!

You're all ignoring the uncanny valley; when machines begin to exhibit characteristics of life, as they're doing now, people begin to view them as beings.

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) wrote:
7 Now when [Jesus] had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion’s [robot], who was dear unto him, was [glitching], and ready to die. 3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his [robot]. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this: 5 for he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue. 6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: 7 wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my [robot] shall be healed. 8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the [robot] whole that had been [glitching].

With apologies to Luke....

Makes me wonder why no chip maker named its business "Shofar Tech."

Watch what you say. I'm a "religutard" by some people's standards, since I perform the salah and read scriptures. Also, "tard" is an ableist slur, don't use it.
