I recently heard about case in on of your Polish district court (Sąd okręgowy ) The case was about 16 years old girl wanting marriage with her 18 years old boyfriend it is no issue (because age of consent is 15 years old in poland at must be at least 5 years difference to be issue 
)
The young was madly in love the girl parents ware equally madly oppose because the the guy was from poor familly at was little rebelious one.
If the girl would be automatically treated like an adult (except voting and buying alkochol with must be all ways 18 years old ). The Polish court usually reject premission to merry if parents are oposse, except case of pregencies when our court usually give permission ("to provide good environment for unborn baby").
It later in court the girl told that she is pregnant her parents was of course furious 
she had legal expertise from physican specialising in field of gynecology (Biegły - guy or woman who talk in court sciency stuff I don't know proper term in English)
The girl won and married her prince, her parent not gave up and tried to a peal to Voievodship ( regional) court, court rejected apeal, the event tried in our Polish supreme court, but the even not heard the case because case is so trivial and the have more urgent cases and polish judicial system have all ready overload and not have enough budget.
Later it was found that the girl wasn't pragent and she and her new "housband" all the time lied in the Polish Court!
When the girl parents found this wanted to court make her whole marriage null and void, but court said the couldn't becace Polish constitution exceptly forbade restarting already seatled cases(what an absurdity ). But they will be more than willing to prosecute on their own and for public money the loving couple for lying in Polish court with is high crime in Poland:D
I'm interested in Law is on of my special intrest. I wonder how it look in America and England. Does anglosaxon legal system also forbiding restarting old cases even if the whole trail was based on lies!
