I don't see how all Muslims owe an apology (I know you're not saying that Thomas, just saying in general, if that makes sense)

Blaming an entire religion for the acts of a few fanatics if never a good idea. Most people today forget the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition, as with other atrocities my own religion has committed (Catholicism).
