Have we become more liberal thinkers, or is something else going on?

Sometimes I think we're more accepting of other peoples "differences" but sometimes I think we're not.

Perhaps people are just following PC while keeping their real thoughts to themselves.
Or maybe people have become more self involved and don't care.
Or maybe more people are experimenting, with the smorgasbord of options.

Not that there's anything wrong with that... :P

The internet has been obfuscated by rampant sarcasm and creeping irony. DARPA is working on it.

Generally speaking, there are two types of folks.

The extroverted ones who are more open to new experiences.

And the introverted ones who are less open to new experiences.

But the reality is, there is a spectrum of it all that can never be clearly delineated on a case by case basis, as personality is subject to change, as well as dopamine sensitivity, and all the other organic complexities of human being through the course of life that in total is what makes human beings what they are, on a now to now basis.

So yeah, there will always be democrats and republicans, in spirit, online and off. :)

I choose to play the full gamut of possibilities, just for fun, as I'm retired and creativity is my thing now that I escape the government full regulated employment way of life, for around a quarter of a century.

Creativity has many faces.

An informal poll with almost 4000 participants, per Myers Brigs Personality Inventory, conducted on this internet site, not surprisingly, is overwhelmingly Introvert leaning at 95%.

When I worked for the government I was an INTJ.

Now I am an ENFP.

The human mind can be incredibly malleable if allowed a different Environment.

People here and almost everywhere else are exposed to more new things in life, than ever before.

So the mind adapts, and so the tribe goes, and the individual.

And sarcasm, particularly wit, is just one form of creativity. ;)

It breaks boredom, so people do it, at times, to entertain themselves and/or others, too. ;)
