Is anyone here in Ukraine or Russia?
I think Mr Putin wants a 'buffer zone' and a direct land route to the Crimea. Does anyone have any views or
knows what is going on? It all seems a bit political? Especially when East-West relations have been friendlier since the end of USSR. Is the West being to hard on Putin over Ukraine? Is there a simple solution? Can a vertical line just divide Ukraine into Pro-Russia on the East and Pro-West on the west side of the line? There is no need to fight over it?
I have friends on both sides of this political friction point.
