The akashic records are part of the Hindu tradition. Every action, every word, and every thought are allegedly recorded on an incorporeal plane of existence called the Akashic Plane.

It is taught that accessing this plane is not easy for the corporeal mind, because the physical nature of carnate life is infinitesimally small compared to the infinite knowledge containe in the Akashic Plane - "One mind can not hold all knowledge", after all.

It is also taught that the rarest type of soul is the one that reports all of its daily experiences to the Akashic plane through its dreams. While this is primarily a one-way experience, some accounts claim that some of the more highly-developed souls may connect, confer, and relate to each other after they've made their reports.

...

All very interesting from a scholarly viewpoint, but none of this is backed up by verifiable facts and empirical research.

It is possible that the 'Akashic Record' is a metaphor for truth in science as well.

Science already suggest that small mammals have genetic memory of their ancestors.

And Jung's 'research' on human archetypes, per the subconscious mind, is proving out to be an empirical evidenced phenomenon in science, as well.

And 'we' now literAlly have the 'Akashic Record' to some degree as a self fulfilling prophecy created and manifested by humankind.

It is named Google.

And some folks are better than others AT LITERALLY UPLOADING ALL THEIR EXPERIENCES, EMOTIONS, AND KNOWLEDGE TO THE 'AKASHIC' record of Google. Otherwise known as living forever in the CYBERWORLD, AS LONG as human experiences/hearts/souls are backed up and servers continue to serve the experiences/hearts/souls of humankind

In A way..

Google is GOD.

IT brings all the chaos of human minds into an orchestra of musicK of minds combined!

And 'IT' technology has already defeated the laws of thermodynamics, to some degree, as the energy available per HUMAN emotion to bring action and higher energy TO MAKE ACTION HAPPEN FOR millions of human beings can be done with a source of music energy that practically has LITTLE TO no 'matter' relatively 'forever' in terms of 'human time'.

FOR INSTANCE, this music video is relatively speaking A HUMAN ATOMIC BOMB.. INSPIRING THE DESIRE TO DANCE AND MOVE IN EMOTING HUMAN SONG AND DANCE THROUGH MIRROR NEURONS TO LITERALLY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, AT OVER 2 BILLION HEARS AND VIEWS.

ART IS AN INCREDIBLE SOURCE OF EMOTION, HUMAN ENERGY, AND EMOTIVE ACTION IN REAL TIME AND THE 'IT' REVOLUTION MAKES 'IT' HAPPEN FOREVER, relatively speaking in human emoting action.

AND with all that said.

Here is the evidence of IT. ;)

Sing and dance on... AND LIVE..

STAGNATE AND ROT.

IT AND THE AKASHIC record of Google is a savior of the heart and soul of humankind motivating IT to more than sitting still.....

Yeah, 2.2 billion ViEWs and hEars of 'atomic' PSY EMOTING energy... driven through emotions of song and dance through human mirror neurons time and time again, inspiring the real life ACTION OF SONG AND DANCE, over and over and over, with the source of energy 'never getting tired'.

Connect up to the HIVE of the new age Akashic Record, GET INSPIRED, AND MOVE BABY MOVE.. it's sEXCITING FOR FOLKS WHO do participate.

For folks that don't, for all PRACTICAL INTENTS AND PURPOSES THIS 'PART' of 'GOD' does not exist.....

Many so-called 'SMART' folks discount the power of human emotion in driving human action.

Unfortunately many so-called 'SMART' folks do to grow their physical and emotional intelligence.. as they are busy doing mechanical cognition that does little to nothing for THAT INSPIRING WAY of real life action that science now shows in the physical intelligence of the 'dance of life' CAN and does REGULATE emotions, integrate physical sensations, and drives cognitive executive functioning in both enhancement of focus and short term working memory.

This means, in a way, PSY IS A FRIGGING GENIUS, AND HAS a genius that some people rarely share at all.

It's not because something can be done it means it should be done innit now?

Too lazy to go check a book so went to wiki instead:

Quote:
the Akashic records (a term coined in the late 1800s from akasha, the Sanskrit word for "sky", "space", "luminous", or "æther") are a compendium of thoughts, events, and emotions believed by Theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the astral plane. There is no scientific evidence for existence of the Akashic records http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akashic_records

So you are a Theosophist then?

Quote:
In Hinduism, Akasha means the basis and essence of all things in the material world; the first material element created from the astral world, (Akasha (Ether), Earth,Water,Fire,Air,) in sequence). It is one of the Panchamahabhuta, or "five elements"; its main characteristic is Shabda (sound). In Sanskrit the word means "space", the first element in creation. In Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati, and many other Indian languages, the meaning of Akasha has been accepted as sky. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akasha#Hinduism

I do find it interesting however that it's main characteristics should be sound but not sure how Tarot cards would connect?
You would have more chance if you listened to the wind...
or something like this perhaps?

Try it. Dj really plays the music all night long

Namaste,

I'm sorry to say that people here are either science-minded (like myself) and would not believe in the Akashic plane unless repeatable and reliable demonstrations were made to access it; or the people here are Christian fanatics who see only the Christian God in everything they think of as good, and the devil in everything else.

Either way, you'll not get much useful information from the members of this website that is not already available on the Internet. If you seek more info on the Akashic records, then I suggest reading straight from the Hindu texts on the topic.

Blessed Be,

Fnord

So you are telling me wiki got it wrong and that the term 'Akashic Record' is part of Hindu tradition and not made up by Theosophists?.
Quote:
The notion of an akashic record is attributed to Alfred Percy Sinnett, who, in his book Esoteric Buddhism (1884), wrote of a Buddhist belief in "a permanency of records in the Akasa" and "the potential capacity of man to read the same."[4][3] By C. W. Leadbeater's Clairvoyance (1899) the association of the term with the idea was complete, and he identified the akashic records by name as something a clairvoyant could read.[3] According to Marshal McKusick, former professor of Anthropology at the University of Iowa, the term Akashic record was created by Rudolf Steiner.

Fnordie, are you misinforming or are you disinforming?

You probably won't reply to this. You never seem to when I point out some of the waffle you come out with. Seriously though, the way I read it. 'Akashic Records' is as much part of Hindu tradition as I am a friggin Christian fanatic. LMFAO

Interesting Rudolph Steiner's name should pop up. He was a Christian and enough of a fanatic to start his own education system. Not one that is sympathetic to AS kids in my own personal experience :(

Namaste, make up your own mind but pleased don't let yourself be guided by a smooth talker who has to resort to belittling others to achieve what... :?

Seriously, I've been taught that the multi-planar model of the 'Heavens' originated with the Hindus; but if this isn't true, then maybe it's a case that is similar to H.P. Lovecraft's 'Necronomicon', which he invented as a literary device back in the 1920's.

Just as there is no 'real' Necronomicon, so too is there no 'real' Akashic plane or record.

Besides, since when do I have to answer to you?

You don't have to answer to me but I can get really annoyed with you at times. Different story though. Thanks for bothering on this occasion
I'm self-taught and if you have a need to label me can I be a baby Taoist please?
Quote:
In Hinduism there are Loka which is Sanskrit for "world"
In the Puranas, and already in the Atharvaveda, there are fourteen worlds, seven higher ones (vyahrtis) and seven lower ones (patalas), viz. bhu, bhuvas, svar, mahas, janas, tapas, and satya above and atala, vitala, sutala, rasaataala, talatala, mahaatala, patala and naraka below.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loka#Hindu_tradition

Don't know much of Hindu cosmology as it's a huge subject but there are seven upper and sever lower (under) worlds and our plane of existence is the lowest of the upper worlds as far as I know.

I've come accross this Akashic Record in crystals lore and believe if there is a connection to another plane of existence that can be communicated with on some level it would make more sense this level would be accesible by something that is own to it.
Still, this is so esoteric there is no point speculating beyond my own mind

You might be jumping way ahead of yourself.

A lot of Golden Dawn folks would suggest that if you want even astral scrying capacity you'd want to work with Tattva cards and launching into them for pathworking attempts, after that you might be able to scry with the tarot and if you're using a classic deck use your major trump (paths) and pips (sephira) as launch points for traveling the Qabalistic Tree of Life.

My own experience right now with meditation and visualization work is that for a long time you really are trying to build your visual memory and get things to stop dancing all over the place on you (even simple objects). I'm noticing greater stability after a year with my images and some marked improvement with visual working memory - no major Jacob Boehme or John of the Cross experiences to report yet though.

The ugly thing about the astral or yetziric plane is that for a long time you'll be mostly trying to fight your way through a jungle of your own perceptions and fantasies both conscious and unconscious. Being able to tell what's really an observation of your subconscious and reliable data stream vs. what's your own brain's own corporate minutes and internal dialogue will be quite tough. That's probably still quite a ways prior to any ability to go sifting through YHVH's long-term memory. If you want a glimpse of how confusing it is take a shot at Rudolph Steiner's Outline of the Occult Sciences and know the guy really made a valiant attempt and still in all likelihood served up a hot plate of gibberish. Dion Fortune's Cosmic Doctrine is probably more vetted for reliability and has been used by various Martinist orders albeit its even more confusing!

I don't know what kind of work you're doing a this point but if you want to dive deeper into this stuff I'd really do one of two things 1) look for a good initiatic mystic/magic order that you can join for long-term instruction or 2) getting something similar in the way of a book - maybe something like Franz Bardon's Initiation Into Hermetics or Tabitha and Chick Cicero's Self Initiation Into the Golden Dawn (another good one in that lineage is By Names and Images by a guy out of Australia who pen-names Peregrin Wildoak). If using Bardon you'll want to download Rawn Clark's companion book to it.

This stuff takes work, years of it most often, and I'm highly doubtful of any new ager who says you can have out of body experiences in a month - I think they're picking the low-hanging fruit with that (people who'd be able to do it anyway) and it's a little dishonest on their part. Look into Tattva's or if that's not your a thing either a black mirror or a black bowl filled with water as an entry-level focus.

NO, I AM NOT MAKING FUN OF IT.

IN fact, I for one know NOW, EXPERIENCE, AND ACCESS THE AKASHIC RECORD THROUGH the exercise of dance, rhythm, and music changing my state of consciousness and brain waves in dance trance, TO BETTER ACCESS THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND THAT CONNECTS 'US' TO THE METAPHOR OF COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS AKA GENETIC MEMORY, if one wants to use a science metaphor for the same dam thingy, like 'our' so-called primitive ancestors do, before the illusion of ego and separation from the rest of the 'tribe' AND Mother Nature TRUE aka GOD occurs through the agricultural, industrial, and NOW 'IT' age that is bringing human nature full circle back to 'BEFORE THE APPLE', to use a religious metaphor that 'the FALL' is materialism and collecting byproducts of manmade culture rather than dancing naked with the rest of the tribe in FULL EMOTIVE EMOTIONAL AND SENSORY CONNECTION sharing everything as 'the tribe' goes and grows as one together as ONE FORCE OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

When one connects to 'cosmic consciousness' creativity is inspired and unconditional loving connection to all other folks.

I do not make fun of people who inquire about the mysteries of life.

I get bored with black and white thinkers but try to tolerate them the best I can.

I truly feel sorry them, as they likely have never been to the states of bliss of higher consciousness and flowing creativity allowing conscious direction and worry to 'step aside', more fully employing the sub-concious mind, without any external prescribed or other substances to get there, ALL natural, ALL the time, NOW.

Throughout history AND PRE-HISTORY some folks AND TRIBES USE prescribed or non-prescribed 'substances' to help them get there.

But I for one, again, do it ALL NATURAL through the rhythms, dance, and music of life, both in verbal and non-verbal ways, consciously and sub-consciously, in a mind and body joined together in balance in connection to others and Mother Nature TRUE for higher FULLER potential in human being..:)

Even THOUGH WHAT PSY IS DOING IN THE VIDEO I linked is a satire of sorts, the draw of the video to 2.2 Billion folks is the altering of mind that it can create in greater mindful awareness for folks who have open minds to greater mindful awareness through rhythm, dance, and music.

Here is an interesting video that explains more of this in detail.

Hope you enjoy it, if you like, and have the time to enjoy it. :)

I have been tarot from around 8 years now and also learned energy healing

But got stuck somewhere in a rut and then went in pursuit of a regular day job

After 3 years of job i was thrown out and called eccentric.

Right now i want to kindle my passion of occult but i am stuck again
most of my experiments with spiritual gurus, occult classes turned out
to be money waste.

I will search for a good group if i find then well and good otherwise
i might just continuing meditating

I dont know what i will do after reaching akashic records and why suddenly there is passion
for excessing it
