Those who do not adapt their beliefs become left behind. Its best to walk around with an 'open mind' in this respect
Except that political beliefs are prone to enough subjectivity and misinformation and other things that they cannot be easily made false. I do agree that individuals should try to learn but merely walking with an open mind is not enough to cause them to be willing to adapt as they will either consciously or unconsciously take on a belief, take on an ideal, and take on an ideology.

when elitist rich run the country, thats when. i dont think it use to be like that. politics use to stand for something, now everyone knows its bs
Unless you are going to also claim that the elitist rich have run the country from the start then I must find myself in disagreement. Politics has always been about lies, been about power struggles, and been about personal beliefs. The bs in politics has existed in the US ever since it was born, with radical violations of the constitution, wars started for resources, political campaigns driven on complete nonsensical lies and more. I would imagine that other countries will find themselves in the same place.
