Help stop the "fast-track" of the TPP

In case you hadn’t heard anything about it, our illustrious Congress, with the endorsement of of the POTUS, are currently attempting to pass a very dire piece of legislation that would allow the White House to negotiate and sign trade agreements without Congressional oversight. This “Fast-Track,” as it is called, will open the door for President Obama to sign into law the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Senators Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, and Bernie Sanders have started a petition to pressure the Obama administration into full-disclosing the text of the TPP. Below is a link where you can go to add your name to the petition.

Sadly, you may be correct. Still, I don't believe in sitting idly by and doing nothing if I have a strong conviction about something.

We are likely within days of a 'fast track' vote and....................where are the people?...............Dancing with the Stars is on.....Kim Kardashian got a new dress.....the people don't give a f**k.... and even if they did it wouldn't matter............ergo it's all over but the crying.

So, love your family, obey the laws and if you're really lucky life might be somewhat tolerable.

i signed the petition. the bad thing about the TTP from what has been leaked is that it would take precedence over our environmental and food safety laws. a foreign company could sue our government if our laws caused them to lose money.

Liberals are fighting amongst each other, I must still be in a dream.
I think the executive branch has too much power, with an example being the illegal immigration move.

Fast Track gives Obama too much power.

And Obama is terrible.

As expected, the Senate passed the Fast-track measure in a vote of 65 for and 33 against. Now onto the House next month for their expected nod.
