I you are a leader of any type within your faith community, how has that changed your response to the way others may label you?

I guess I technically am, since my faith community has a population of 1.

I like being called Reverend, though I would prefer Your Majesty.

I'm an ordained Discordian Pope and Keeper of the Sacred Chao.

Why have faith when knowledge is so easily obtainable?

Yes, I am a leader of a certain type within my faith community. Not sure what you mean by your question about how it has changed my response to the way other might label me?

How do people label me? My response changed from what?

If you can further explain what information you are looking for, I might be able to answer you.

Because without some modicum of faith, the only obtainable knowledge is cogito ergo sum. Claims to the contrary generally belie understanding of the problem of induction.

Easy. Most people are far too lazy to think and use reason.

Oh...and...a lot of people are...well...stupid.

Right, because every person who adheres to a faith is stupid, lazy, and doesn't use reason.

Tell that to my all-genius-level IQ family that is going through philosophy lectures this year as part of our homeschooling curriculum. We're Christians. Oh, and we're all excellent classical musicians = definitely not lazy.

  Is it a Xtian tainted curriculum? or a true curriculum?

We're Christians.

  No you're not.

  I meant intellectually lazy.

I am an ordained elder in the Presbyterian church, and Pope of the Fnordic church.

I am not an atheist, I just hate religion.

None of this makes any sense, does it?

Neither does religion, either.

What's your church's position on the seeing of the Fnords?

Should I be concerned that I see you?

If you do not see the Fnords, they cannot hurt you.

You cannot see me, as I exist as the hidden integer between 3 and 4 in the spaces between the pixels on your screen.

I am now retired as an Army Chaplain (30 years total, Active and Reserve). When I first started working with soldiers, I had to get used to be called "Father" as with those of the Roman Catholic faith tradition, especially since I am from a Baptist faith group. But as a chaplain, I am more there to help them with their faith than to
necessarily push them toward one church.

I consider my role to be helping Christians understand Christos's true message when I see them bound up in whirlwinds of judgment. I attempt to remind them of Christos's service energy. It is not an energy devoted to judgment.

Matthew 7:1-3King James Version (KJV)

7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
