Appalling and genuinely disturbing as it is, it's nothing new and is one of the tools born of the War on Drugs.
That aside, I can't help but wonder what John Stossel has done to earn the wrath of The Partizan to the point where The Partizan joyfully applauds physical assault on him? 
I'm not familiar with Stossel's other work so maybe I'm missing something.

Just the first paragraph of that wikipedia article reveals that Stossel is a hardhearted libertarian heavily associated with Fox and O'Reilly. I'm starting to like him already.

I don't mean to be insensitive or anything, but you do realize Stossel is being sarcastic throughout the whole video, right? he is not actually defending the cops, he is using sarcasm to show how ridiculous it is that we allow cops to do this.
I am, if anything, often guilty of hyperbole. I really don't wish death on anyone (well, with a few exceptions, maybe
). That being said, Stossel's record of conservative libertarianism is well known to me and others on this forum, and so I eagerly express my opinion about him.
